Cause they have nothing already why try to take that away. Not only do we not have variety in the artist world but we have stupidity, we have close minded and we have ignorance and in order to close or stop these people from breeding more ignorance we need to open the younger minded. And yes I do hold every artist responsible and ill say later why. There is no excuse for not having variety in colors, no matter where you grow up as long as you have internet access you have seen skins of different colors, and not only of the darker skin, but olive , brown and red skin.

So yeah people over react to not having or changing a skin color to a lighter tone. I don’t blame them, wouldn’t you when your tired of seeing white washed characters. Isn’t there enough already? And if you don’t want an opinion on it (and don’t want responsibility on it), I say don’t post on the internet which is simple. If you don’t want to feel and receive the opinions of the very different don’t post it on the world wide web to be seen by them……this opinion goes toward the different sized as well, but thats another story.

I say all of the new gen artist that grew up with lighter skinned anime and the darkest to go is tanned or if dark its dramatic like mr popo or jinx have a chance to bring the artist community closer and open up the minds to the younger artist. Thats the responsibility we have like it or not.

Im sorry but the excuse for not growing up with darker skinned is bull. I seen plenty of darker skin artist drawing plenty of the peached skinned cause its more favored, think about it. The artist world is white washed stop joking yourselves. Okay not only the artist world but any world, and its a shame.

UNPOPULAR TUMBLR OPINION TIME

Really. Really. No. I can draw whatever skin tone I very well wish to. This is not a public school and I do not have to be politically correct. Yes I have darker skinned characters, as well as asian, white, etc etc. Okay. But that’s perhaps two of many. It’s my preference, and I enjoy drawing what I enjoy drawing. There’s nothing wrong with darker skin. Nothing at all.

But that’s like giving people a fruit bowl, then when they take the apple each time you scream at them for neglecting the others. They like bananas too, but they’d rather have the apple. They arent required to eat the banana as well because mind your own buisness. Perhaps they’ll eat it some other day. Maybe not. But it doesnt matter. Why? Because it’s fruit. It shouldnt be a big deal.

Skin color shouldn’t be a big deal. Draw what you want and have fun stop making shitstorms.

And before you ask yes I am a white female ‘ooh no not my place to talk’ yeah whatever suck my metaphorical dick. u3u <3 I love and hate everyone equally and only draw what I want.

Then it was “OMG WE GOTTA ACCEPT THE SLUTTY GURL GAMERS THAT DUN EVEN PLAY VIDEO GAMES AND JUST POST NUDE WITH THERE CONTROLLERS CUZ THEY BE REAL WOMEN TO!” which was MORE BULL SHIT

Now it’s “OMG YOU GOTTA DRAW PEOPLE OF COLOR IN YOUR ART OR ELSE YOU ARE A RACEST CUNT AND WE ARE GONNA ATTACK YOU FOR IT!” It’s fucking bull shit and it’s nothing more then a fucking fad that allows you stupid bitches to cling on to and just post and yack about together just so that you all fit in. 

I think i’m gonna go draw a bunch of white skin colored bishies now ^__^

I dunno what the rest of the books or series are about but I bet you I can guess! Lets see in the next book, is it about them going back to the place to get revenge on the guy who ran it and kill him? Cuz that’s what Battle Royal 2 is about.
